Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to the Bebopper mobile application (“Bebopper,” “Application,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), operated by Rover 5. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Application.

By downloading, accessing, or using the Application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

We may collect information that you provide directly to us, as well as certain information that is collected automatically when you use the Application.

Information You Provide

Depending on how you use the Application, we may collect information such as:

You may choose not to provide certain information, but some features of the Application may not function properly without it.

Automatically Collected Information

When you use the Application, certain information may be collected automatically, including:

The Application does not collect precise location information from your mobile device.

Local Device Storage

The Application uses on-device storage to support offline functionality. Draft entries and cached data may be stored locally on your device and synchronized with our cloud database (Firebase Firestore) when an internet connection is available. This allows you to create entries while offline — for example, during a commute or on an airplane — and have them sync automatically upon reconnection. Locally stored data is subject to the same protections described in this Privacy Policy.

How We Use Information

We may use collected information to:

Push Notifications

The Application may send push notifications to your mobile device for purposes including reminders, updates, activity alerts, account notifications, and Application-related announcements.

You may choose to disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.

Third-Party Services

The Application may use third-party service providers to help operate the Application. These providers may collect or process information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Third-party services used by the Application include:

Infrastructure and Authentication

Privacy policies for third-party services:

We do not sell users’ personal information to third parties.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We may share information in the following circumstances:

We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify individual users.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Application, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

If you would like us to delete your account or personal information, you may request deletion through the Application’s account settings or by contacting us at bebopper@rover5.com. We will respond to reasonable requests within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable laws, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, please use the account settings within the Application or contact us at bebopper@rover5.com.

You may also stop all collection of information by uninstalling the Application using the standard uninstall process available on your device or app marketplace.

Account Deletion

Users may delete their account through the Application settings or by contacting bebopper@rover5.com. Deleting an account may permanently remove associated content and records, subject to legal retention obligations.

Children’s Privacy

The Application is made for families and is intended to be set up and managed by a parent or guardian. A parent or guardian creates the family account and adds each child. Children do not create their own accounts, cannot invite other users, and cannot communicate with anyone through the Application.

Information about a child — such as a first name or nickname, the activities they track, and the sessions they log — is provided and controlled by the parent or guardian who created the family account. It is visible only to members of that family. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the infrastructure providers described above.

A parent or guardian may review, correct, or delete a child’s information at any time from within the Application, or by contacting bebopper@rover5.com. Deleting the family account removes the associated child records.

Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to help protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Users

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Application after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
